My Values
As an Independent Artist creating bespoke pieces I think it's incredibly important to maintain values and ethics across my work.
Attention To Detail
I endeavour to include as much detail as possible in my drawings, ensuring each piece is as realistic as possible whilst maintaining the character of the subject.
Eco Friendly
As we're at such a crucial point for environmental health I believe it's in all of our interests to make positive changes wherever possible. For this reason all of my packaging is recyclable, and is biodegradable, compostable and completely plastic free wherever possible. I'm also in Partnership with Tree Sisters so every commission and each order over £10 plants trees.
Realism
I take pride in creating highly realistic works wherever the reference photo allows. A high quality reference photo is key to helping me to create the best work possible; I can only draw what I see. For advice on what makes a good reference photo please see my reference guidance.
Quality
My commissions are created using the highest quality materails:
- Caran D'ache Luminance, Faber-Castell Polychromos, Caran D'ache Pablo, Derwent Lightfast, Holbein and Prismacolour pencils.
- Fabriano Artistico or Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper depending on the subject.
Eco Friendly Info
Commissions are packaged in compostable bio cello envelopes (A2 sizes are wrapped).
To finish them off, smaller sizes are wrapped branded vellum. Larger sizes are gift wrapped with biodegradable acetate ribbon.
Protective returnable corners and biodegradable bubble wrap are used to protect commissions during postage.
Wherever possible any print based materials are printed on recycled paper.
